About Us

Samuel then took a large stone and placed it between the towns of Mizpah and Jeshanah. He named it Ebenezer (which means “the stone of help”), for he said, “Up to this point the LORD has helped us!”1 Samuel 7:12

Ebenezer Reformed Church’s Kingdom & Core Values

Kingdom Values

  • Christ is head of the Church. We ask:  Where is Christ at work and how can we join Him? (Ephesians 1:15-23)
  • God leads His church through recognized spiritual leaders, empowered staff and equipped believers (Ephesians 4:1-16). Pastor leads; Consistory governs; Staff manages; Congregation ministers.
  • We have been blessed to be a blessing. (Genesis 12:1-3)
  • We live in and under the authority of Jesus. (Colossians 1:15-20)
  • Transformed lives are the primary tool for Jesus to pervade His power, presence and control through the world. (Ephesians 4:20-24)
  • Serving is the path to greatness. (John 13; Philippians 2:1-11)
  • In loosing our life we find it. (Matthew 16:24-26)
  • Reach the World for Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8)
  • Every member of the body is important. (1 Corinthians 12)

Our God is a God of abundance and He loves to give. He sacrificed willingly on the cross and then invited us into fullness of life. As His children, we are called to imitate Him. Our generosity in giving is a demonstration of God’s character and a response to what He has done for us.
